Amar Partap steels pvt. Ltd. has adapted the EVCON – TURBO, a german based technology for manufacture of international rebar because this is the first choice all over world . Directly after the last rolling mill stand , the steel bars surface receives a short intensive water cooling as it passes though the system. |
|
The repid temperature reduction of the bar periphery converts the surface the layer of steel bar to a hardened structure. On leaving the pipe , the intensive quenching is followed by further cooling in atmosphere , so that the temperature between the hot core. The resultant structure is a tempetred marten site zone at the periphery and a fine grain ferrite-pearlite structure in the central zone . Due to this unique and precise technology, AMCO rebars have all the desired properties of high strength good toughness and ductility.

The use of high strength TMT results in 10-20% saving in steel consumption . In developed Countries, rebar’s with minimum yield strength of 500 N/mm2 (as against 415 N/mm2 in CTS bars ) with highelongation values are specified for RCC work.
